NATU?RESIN ?? ????????®
Water-based mineral resin
The product is perfect for creating trays, coasters, ashtrays, plates, jewelry boxes, flowerpots, cutting boards, candle holders, cell phone holders and various objects for home and office!
The system is also suitable for use with a wide range of applications for casting and lamination, including decorative objects, counter-moulds for rubber moulds, polystyrene and foam coatings, rigid moulds and many other applications in the mould sector.
Natu?Resin is suitable for internal and external uses.
However, in outdoor environments, it is recommended to use the product alongside a protective product in order to preserve the appearance of the surfaces.
PREPARATION
In order to ensure performance conforms to material specifications, it is essential to weigh batches using precision scales and a mixer supplied by us. Failure to follow these instructions could result in reduced strength, slower hardening, and reduced durability. Workshop environments must be adequately heated, free from humidity and protection from direct sunlight. Avoid environments where solvent-based compounds are regularly used. The containers used for mixing must be clean, dry and of adequate size.
MIXING RATIO
The standard mixing ratio for Natu?Resin is given below.
Component A – Natu?Resin base (powder part) 2.5 parts by weight
Component B – liquid Natu?Resin 1 part by weight
Please note: It is possible to change the mixing ratio for the addition of mineral or metal fillers, sands, light fillers, etc.
For more information, see the instructions below.
It is also possible to mix the material at a ratio of 3: 1 to obtain a quick setting that can facilitate the filling of joints and air bubbles or combine multiple castings.
QUANTITIES NEEDED
For casting, use 1,750 g of Natu?Resin per 1,000 ml of mould volume. For lamination, 1,750 g / mm of laminate thickness will be required per square meter. A typical laminate therefore requires 2.5kg of gel coat mix and 8.5kg of backing mix to create a 6mm glass fabric reinforced panel.
1,750 g of Natu?Resin = 1000 ml. By volume
1 m² of laminate = 10 kg – 12 kg of Natu?Resin.
MIXING
Prepare a large container to contain the two components.
Add the liquid in the desired doses into the container.
Slowly add the base powder component (previously weighed according to the use ratio) to the liquid a little at a time, stirring constantly.
Once all the base powder component has been added, continue to mix the mixture until a homogeneous, fluid and lump-free mixture is obtained.
The workability time limit at the standard ratio is 12 – 15 minutes.
Once the Natu?Resin mixture has been poured into the mould, to facilitate the escape of air bubbles from the mixture, beat the mold vigorously on the support surface for a few times.
