DIVOLO Ceramic Paint – Technical Data Sheet

Product Description

Bright, vibrant colors suitable for decorating white ceramics (biscuits). Once applied, the paint forms a stable, glossy, and durable film. It does not require kiln firing and offers excellent lightfastness. If necessary, dilute with water. Before application, thoroughly clean the surface to be decorated.

Technical Characteristics

• Adhesion:
  • Excellent on porous substrates (raw ceramic).
  • Good on non-porous substrates (glazed ceramic, glass). For best results, protect with a clear water-based varnish (COBEA Glossy or Matte Finishing Varnish).
• Brushability & Coverage: Excellent.
• Glaze Effects: Achieved by mixing with COBEA Water-Based Transparent Finishing Varnish.
• Protection: Recommended to finish with a glossy or matte transparent varnish.
• Washability: Decorated items can be washed with warm water.
• Food Safety: Not suitable for surfaces intended to contain food or drinks.

Directions for Use

1. Thoroughly clean the surface before decorating.
2. Use the product as supplied; do not dilute.
   • If dilution is necessary, use distilled water. Note: adhesion will decrease when diluted.
3. For glaze effects, mix with COBEA Transparent Finishing Varnish.
4. Protect the decoration with a glossy or matte finishing varnish.
