Description: These are transparent colors based on ketone resins, particularly suitable for decorative painting on glass. Once applied, the paint forms a stable, glossy, and long-lasting film; it requires no firing and has excellent lightfastness. If necessary, dilute with alcohol. Before use, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the surface you are decorating.

Composition: The paint is made of very fine ketone resin dispersed in 99.9% alcohol and special transparent dyes.

Applying cold glass paints These paints can be used with soft, flat or pointed brushes, or with a dropper to work with a color expansion technique. The most suitable technique is to draw the desired design with Divolo imitation lead paste . Once the imitation lead paste is dry, you can fill in the design with glass paints. The transparent color from the glass paints line is useful for lightening shades; for example, to create a transparent light pink, you would use magenta mixed with transparent. White, on the other hand, is opaque and is used to create opaque glass paintings by mixing it with other transparent shades.

Product drying: The glass color dries in about 5 hours in a non-humid environment and at a temperature of about 22° C, wait at least 24 hours before displaying the decorated object.

*IMPORTANT: Since these are cold glass colors, it’s important not to paint glass objects intended to hold food. Dishes and glasses can be decorated for decorative purposes. Alternatively, you can paint a clear glass plate only on the outside so that the inside can be used to hold food. Wash the decorated object only with cold water and a microfiber cloth, without using detergents.

Removing paint and cleaning tools: You can clean the tools used with pure alcohol or acetone. Glass paints are alcohol-based and have a typical alcohol odor, so we recommend using them in a well-ventilated area. We recommend wearing protective gloves and a mask.
