Art Masking Fluid.
Used to create striking white highlights or areas for overpainting at a later stage. Forms a fast-drying, water-resistant film on watercolour paper and board, easily removed when dry by rubbing with an eraser, soft tissue or cotton bud. Directions: To be applied directly to paper or board. An old brush, pen or cotton bud should be used to apply the Masking Fluid as it is extremely difficult to remove from brushes when dry.
Ox Gall Solution.
Improves the wetting and increases the flow of watercolour. Directions: Only add a few drops of Ox Gall to the mixing water.
Gum Arabic.
Increases the gloss and transparency of watercolours. Directions: Use Aquafine gum arabic to create your own watercolors by mixing it with water and dry pigments.
Poster and Watercolour Varnish.
Apply one coat for a glossy surface on watercolours, poster or gouache paintings and designs. Directions: Apply on top of dry paining. The intensity of the gloss depends on the type of paper, the more absorbent the paper the lower the gloss finish.
Made in England.
Daler-Rowney is particularly proud to continue the long heritage of manufacturing Aquafine Watercolour Mediums in the United Kingdom, based in the South of England, in Bracknell.
